We have received very sad news about the death of Ján Čačko, the long-time President of the Slovak Ostomy Association SLOVILCO.
Jan has been involved in the stoma movement in Slovakia for 30 years. He had very good contacts with ostomates from Czechia and Poland. He was an extremely warm, liked and sociable man. Always full of energy, enthusiasm and ideas for action. He proved to be the organizer of many meetings of ostomates from Poland, Czechia and Slovakia. We feel great regret and pain because of His passing away. He will remain in our memories forever.
