Across the world, patient associations are turning this year’s World Ostomy
Day theme – “Invisible disabilities, visible support – the global unity of ostomates” – into action. Their initiatives are breaking stigma, building communities, and raising the bar for care and advocacy for people living with a stoma.
Together with @Coloplast, we are proud to recognise the dedicated work of these organisations through the World Ostomy Award 2025. The award highlights the impact that patient groups create every day, supporting people with a stoma and ensuring that their voices are heard.
